Hi everyone, I am under contract for another 4 1/2 years and not having much luck finding a job that will "fit" with all of my restrictions. Is nursing case management recovery friendly? Any input would be appreciated. :) Thank you for reading.

I know a nurse who got a case management job. I work in a telephone triage center. Other places Ive heard are dialysis, private practice MD office- once you are off narcotic stipulations I know of some managers who hire floor and ICU nurses (be very very sure you can be around narcotics- personally I just now feel after 2.5 years that I could handle this even though I could technically gone to this environment at 6 months).

I don't know about case management but psychiatric facilities are usually a good fit for RN's with restrictions - I know several who have worked psych including myself while in Diversion program. Good luck to you
