Some for you, you, oh and you! WHERE ARE YOU GOINGGGGG???

When you're about to go into surgery to debride a mandible and you realize that the patient was indeed NPO and that wasn't food particles in the mouth.....those were just maggots.

When your patient tells you they just have a cough, then recall seeing their sick family member who was later diagnosed with tuberculosis

The moment you realize that you should get hazard pay.

Hey you weren't kidding about having the alphabet flu.

Code Spittle, get that PPE stat!

I said cough and deep breathe, not cough and heave!!!

By the way I came to emergency room because the doctor told me I have active TB, something I forgot to mention at admission!!

Specializes in LTC, Med-surg.

The Big Bad Patient who huffed and puffed and expectorated the nurse's immune defenses down

Finishing bedside handoff.

Oh goody! I always wanted tuberculosis!
