Hello anyone attended Carrington bridge program in Sacramento? I would like to know how's the program. Thank you.

@hnialee that's where my mindset is right now. I looked into Modesto JC as well. 2 of my classes were taken at Unitek, so I would have to retake those as well, which I'm willing to do if that'll help my chances of getting in. I wrote PUC as well and they have their admissions for LVN to RN on hold right now due to Covid, but hopefully will open back up next year.
I will continue to stay positive and if its meant to be it'll happen.

@ConnieLVN2RN yeah sadly a lot of things are on hold and it’s really upsetting. Let’s keep each other updated when we hear anything back from anyone❤️?
@hnialee yes I will keep you updated. We should hear from someone within a week or 2.

@ConnieLVN2RN @hnialee Stay positive! I believe my classmates may have gotten in with a 3.7 ? If for some reason you arent selected for this time around, try again! And don't put all your eggs in one basket. Apply to PUC and try communicating with MJC like you said.
Also, make sure you bug your rep! I did and If I didn't my rep would have completely forgotten about me because she 'accidentally' turned my application in to the LVN department not the LVN to RN department. I made sure she brought my application to the correct department... anyway, it worked out. Stay on top of it ?
Best of luck!
My class mates have also told me that they were told they weren't selected then a day before orientation, they were called as extras. You never know!
@rmc465 thank you so much for your encouragement. It’s very nerve wrecking waiting to hear back and I for sure bothered ---------------------- so much that she knows me LOL and she even kept me updated letting me know that I completed everything and will hear back soon. I hope for the best for all of us during this rough time. I really just want to get in, do my best and start working???
@ConnieLVN2RN have you heard anything back yet from anyone?

I heard about 70ish ppl turned in their full application, so I'm not looking forward to my phone call. I plan on applying later on this year as well if I don't get in as well as Unitek college fall program, its just way more expensive.

Hi! Did you get in with a 3.5 GPA? mine is about a 3.5-3.6 so I am curious what my chances are going to be LOL
@MorganD I honestly think that’s a very good GPA to get into any RN program but from what I heard from -------------------(rep from carrington) that the they have been accepting mostly students with 3.7 or higher, 70% in TEAS, and at least two years of experience in LVN. Not to discourage you but try to retake a class to bump up to a 3.7 to be more competitive because most students that I know so far that are applying are coming with a 3.9-4.0. I hope for all of us to get accepted though. Good luck❤️
Okay thank you so much!? Are those people you know applying for the August start date or the December one? I wish my pre-req credits from Carrington would transfer to other schools ?
@MorganD this is for August start date. Carrington’s credit actually works for MJC, Delta, PUC. You just need to take a few more classes and that’s it.
