Hello I have a care plan due and I need some suggestions for nursing diagnosis's for
Hypoplastic left heart syndrome
and
Turners syndrome
You need to start with your assessment of the patient. You can't fit the diagnosis the the care plan. You have to find what signs and symptoms your patient was exhibiting and go from there. What did you see in your assessment? From the abnormals in your assessment, you look for what you, as a nurse, can do for the patient. The nursing diagnosis will come from that, and from there you make your care plan.

No nursing assessment = no nursing diagnosis. Stuff from books is pure speculation based on typical problems associated with the medical diagnosis. You patient will have their own unique way of dealing with their medical condition and may need help with any number of things.
