Hello,
I am starting critical care in a few weeks and I wanted to get a head start and I was wondering what is a good website to learn about cardiac monitoring? That will be a huge component of this class. Thanks in advance!

This is more of side note:
It seems you're preparing for Critical Care so....
I would recommend getting a head start in hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, PAP, PAWP, MAP) as this will definitely show up in ICU!
I would review cardiac anatomy (trace your blood flow) and understand the cardiac cycle (atrial depolarization/repolarization, ventricular dep/rep). You need to understand this before understand EKGs!
I loved ICU rotation and will miss it very much.
Enjoy this rotation :)

I used the following website when I started my capstone in ICU and also as a new ICU nurse. There is great info on many critical care topics. Hope it helps you as much as it helped me!
