Does anyone work here? I understand they have a New Graduate Nurse Program? How is the program? Anything you know will be of great help

I was wondering if you found out any information about crmc. I applied for the new grad program that begins in a month or so. Did you apply as well? If so, what unit are you interested in?

Are you looking at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital as well?

This is a HCA ran hospital and from what I've heard, they have a high turnover rate and high pt to nurse ratio. They will orient you for a few weeks and then try to get you off orientation early to help their budget. I live in Tallahassee and work at Tallahassee Memorial so ofcourse I am biased. But you will find many nurses leave there to come to us.

I applied for the New Grad internship program but I was not selected

GoodstudentnowRN when did you apply? And did you have an interview? I do not reside in Tallahassee, so I am hoping I hear something soon

DWilkins22, I have heard both positive and negative statements about this facility. I was interviewed for a critical care position, so I am not concerned about high nurse to patient ratios. I do know that the unit manager that interviewed me is new to the hosp. He is implementing a lot of changes, and made that very clear. Thanks for your insight

I applied about two months ago. I do not live in Tallahassee. I got an Email stating that I was not selected.

Yea you will find that alot of people/directors/managers are new. They recruit from other HCA's to get experienced staff to come and "fix" the unit. CRMC is not a "bad" hospital but you will hear alot if their staff saying they're a work in progress.
