Capella DNP FlexPath option

Well, I'm no longer pondering the DNP. I have applied and enrolled, and my classes begin in 8 days. For anyone interested, I will update after I complete the first class just to inform of the progress....or the mistake (whichever applies).?

How's it going?

That's a great question to which I have no answer. I had to push back my start date until I was certain I had the green light from my employer regarding the practicum. So, I'm reviewing the syllabus this weekend and will submit the first assignment on Monday?

Well, here's the update. I started my first course on January 8th and completed it on January 15th. It took a lot out of me because of a recent job transfer and trying to adapt to changes in my work schedule. I'm praying a telework opportunity comes through so that I can eliminate travel time from the equation.

All in all, the FlexPath option appears to be holding true to my needs regarding time management. As for the coursework, I'm finding that I need to think and write as if I am a DNP professional already. I felt my formal writing was already stellar. The awakening was an eye opener. I felt insulted at first on the first paper, but in reading the feedback, I understood and it only took about 15 minutes to make revisions because, after all, it was my paper, so I knew where I was going in the writings. On the second paper, NAILED IT. No revision required.???

How has the program been thus far? I'm trongly considering this option.  Any insight you can share would be most appreciated.

I am also looking into this program. Has anyone graduated from this program with reviews?

Hi, I just applied to the Capella DNP program.
can you provide any insight, how are things going? Have you completed the program?

Hi everyone, I've completed my 8 core courses. Moving on to the DNP DIDACTIC courses!!! So excited.

Hello, congrats on getting thru the 8 courses! how's your overall experience? Would you recommend ? How was the 8 courses & how long did it take you? also how's the didactic portion , I here that's where things can get slowed down? I'm on the fence about the program due to negative reviews. Would love to hear your experience
