I applied to both CSULA and CSULB's BSN Nursing programs and got into both. Now, I can't decide on which school to attend. I've heard many good things about Long Beach, but not much about LA. However, I heard that LA has higher NCLEX passing rates - is that true?
Since this forum is for first years in nursing ...
Did anyone applied to both? How did you choose?
What's your advice from your experience in your first year?
Thanks!

Never been to CA but I did find you some pass rates.

I got into CSULA for Fall 08-- I didn't apply to CSULB, but from what I hear the program is among the top in CA. Personally I'd rather live in LB than east LA...
Best of luck though!
Congratulations! Have you decided on going to CSULA for the fall? Where else did you apply?
I'm pretty sure I'll be going to CSULA-- my other option is CSU San Marcos. I got into the program at NYU, but they didn't offer me enough financial aid

CSULB... hands down. Both programs are impacted but I would try harder for CSULB.
