Hey guys, I need some assistance!! I was wondering if there were any canadian rpns successful in writing the NCLEX PN and getting their license in the US!! I want to move in the next year and need some major guidance. Any information would be greatly appreciated!!

Under what visa would you be eligible for work in the US? LPN does not meet the TN visa requirements.

Either way you can apply but won't be issued a license until you have a valid SSN. You can't get a SSN unless a citizen, permanent resident or valid work visa holder. The wages are on the low side in Florida even with an elevated cost of living in the more popular areas.

The RPN exam is not the NCLEX, still the CPNRE. Only the RN exam has switched to the NCLEX.
