Canadian Nursing Student wanting to go to US

Hi there!

I am a first yr nursing student, and am engaged to a US citizen. I am just wondering if there are any student recruitements for school in the US. I am Canadian, and trying to figure out what option is best. in an ideal situation, i would love to get a hospital agree to get me over there, if i sign a contract...etc.

any chance? Thanks...so much

You can still finish school in Canada. You can work here after you graduate. In Detroit we have many Canadien employees. There isn't anything you need to do special to get into a hospital in the US. You will need a TN visa and that needs to be renewed every year or so.

I am not sure where in Canada you are but in Detroit we have a lot of Canadien nurses. Lots of our Canadien nurses live in or just outside of Windsor.
