This is to the Canadians who are registered nurses and working there.

I got a question for you guys.

I have been told that I'm not eligible to work in the States unless I get a Visa Screen.

Is that true? And have you gotten it yourself?

Or is it all a farce?

Thank you

Hi, SamanthaElizabeth: Will the fact that I already got my license affect the outcome of the VisaScreen? I mean to say will it cause more trouble or will it make the proceedings go faster?

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

One of the requirements for visa screen is a pass with NCLEX so should not affect the process but make it easier

Awesome. I just started going through the application. I think I'm good at getting most of the requirements done within a week or so, but if I have more questions, I'll be posting them here. Thanks again. :D

How long did it take get the VisaScreen for those who applied for one?

Thank you.
