Hello all, I'm hoping you someone can shed some light on my situation. I have recently graduated nursing school (in michigan) and also have obtained my green card (Canadian citizen). The school I graduated from has never dealt with any international students, and has not been very helpful with the process. I have applied for my ATT, and my school has sent all of paperwork and transcripts to the state board. This is where I'm worried, my entire class has received their ATT's, and I'm still waiting on mine. I have this anxiety that some step has been missed and it will be ages before I can get some communication with the board. I have tried to do some research and can't find out any extra steps that should have been taken other than a "visa screen" although I'm not sure if it applies to me because I already have a green card.
Am am I being to anxious? And need to be patient? Or is there a blaring step I have completely missed?
thanks in advance!

If you trained in the US then the process is the same regardless of being US resident or international student. If you have your greencard then VSC is not required
That's what I figured, but with this long wait and everyone receiving theirs, it makes my mind wander. Thank you for replying! I'll just sit on my hands and be patient!

Hi Kier721
I am not sure if this helps but I am an international nurse who has just sat the NCLEX via Michigan BON, there was a delay with my ATT and I rang them they told me that it was a computer glitch, within a few hours I received the ATT from Pearson to schedule test. Hope that helps

Is Canada Post involved? Took 13 days for a letter to get from Denver to Edmonton, sent priority.
Turns out my background check had disappeared and they had to submit a service request to the state police to get it again. Glad I finally called and got things sorted out, I finally get to sit for the NCLEX may 7th. Thanks for the kind words and advice.
