My husband took the above exam with a score of
Listening -6
Reading - 5
Writting - 6
Speaking -7
total - 6.
Is this good already as a requirement of CRNBC?

Hi there,
According to your IELTS score: you passed only speaking(7), listening(6) and writing(6). Your band score and reading part are not sufficient enough..and it means that you didn't pass..
I had the similar problem with such a score, but even thougth that my band score was 6.5(according to the CRNBC rules), the only problem I had with my reading part (my score was 5.5) and because of this 5.5 they asked me TO REPEAT THE TEST!
Good luck to you!
he repeated the exam already last august. he got
7 6 7 7..7total
thanks to all

Hi everybody!
I just wanna consult to you guys regarding my IELTS result. I took the exam last June 28, 2008 and my result are as follows:
speaking - 7.5
writing - 6.5
reading - 6.0
listening - 6.5
overall - 6.5
i'm a bit disappointed because i got really low scores in the other three modules, or is this just alright? overall and per module, is this a pass or fail? what countries or states is my result acceptable to? thank you so so much. :heartbeat:bow:

Depends on the country but most require an average of 6.5 or more Academic. But you really need to decide where you want to live not base it on your English results.

Unfortunately, i got 6.5 in my writing while the rest are 7.5, 7.5 and 7 with a band score of 7.. i am so depressed because i cannot use it for australia or uk. i am asking for your opinion as to where i can use these scores??? it will be very hard for me to retake it because it will be expensive.
i hope somebody could reply about anything. tnx

Unfortunately, any country that requires the English exams are not going to accept these.
If you wish to work in another country, you are going to need to get a higher score, there is no way around that.
You also need to be aware of the fact that the UK has a hiring freeze in place as well, so almost impossible for you to get hired there as well as get a visa to be able to work there.
Communication is an extremely important part of nursing, so skills need to be top notch, and the only way that they can verify this is with a passing score on the IELTS exam.
Best of luck to you.
