can you work while you attend nursing school?

I am hopefully going to start nursing school in fall2011. I am 19 and I have to work . I was wondering if there are any nursing students who work ? Does your job affect your grades? What kind of job it is? I have no choice but to work in the upcoming month all through nursing school so I was wondering how many nursing students dealt with the situation. Thanks for your help.

I am hoping and praying it is possible to work and do nursing school. I am almost done with my pre-requisites and will be applying for the spring 2012 semester. I have been working full time all through my pre-requisites and although it has been hard it has been managable. I am going to have to work at least part time. So, all we can do is keep a positive attitude and just know that many have done it before us and many will do it after us. Good Luck.:)
