For clinicals, our instructors give us a sheet that needs to be turned in every Tuesday. It consists of the pts primary diagnosis, description of disease or disorder, S&S, tx, and nursing care. I have a sheet to do on Afib and can find everything else BUT the nursing care. Can anyone help me with this and maybe even point me to some resources for future reference? This isn't the first time I've had problems with the nursing care. Thanks in advance!

if the patient is on anticoagulants, you would monitor INR, signs and symptoms of bleeding

The answer to your dilemma is to use the nursing process. That nursing process is actually the problem solving method we use to help us in a lot of situations.
What you need to do is look up information on Atrial Fib, specifically it's signs and symptoms (this is the same as the first step of the nursing process which is assessment). If you were actually writing a care plan you would be basing your nursing interventions upon these symptoms. And, that is the answer to your question. You take each one of the symptoms of Atrial Fib and find nursing interventions for them in your nursing textbook(s). So, it not Atrial Fib you are looking for interventions for, but it's various symptoms.
Have fun!
