I live in Milan, Michigan (about 20 minutes from Ohio border) I have seen on the web that Ohio offers a STNA class, does Michigan offer something like this?
Also, I have found CNA training totally on line at http://www.nursingassistant.us/ it's St. Augestine Online College. They have virtual clinicals and would be able to get me right in. The problem is they told me I had to check with Michigan to see if I could take the state test with their training. How do I do that?
If anyone can help me, please e-mail me. Thank you.

Check with the facilities you are interested in working at. Most of the time they offer a class there or will pay for you to take a class. They usually pay for certification testing as well. Good luck.

STNA is not found in MI, but in Ohio. It is different from the CNA and does not get you the CNA in MI.
MI has always required a hands-on program for the CNA. You need to be tested by an instructor.
