With what traveling company did you get this offer?
Is it bad?
You need to clarify your numbers. You are getting meals, travel, and housing tax free. Other than license or insurance, there is nothing else that could be in that category. So you have overlapping pay numbers.
I think that's my confusion I'm giving numbers as explained to me and the break down.
Is the mei and housing usually together ?
Could be quoted either way.
OK, so I just got home and did some simple math. The $9.41 an hour presumptive non taxable comes to $338 per week for 36 hours. This doesn't match your M&IE of $245 so there is something wrong here. You will have to clarify your numbers with your recruiter. You might also ask about health insurance too: if it is provided, if there is a paycheck deduction, and what the COBRA value is. Potentially that adds several dollars an hour to your total compensation.
Ok I'll get the breakdown tomorrow
Ok here's an update
Vancouver Washington, PCU
6 week position
48hr work week
Base pay 31.00 equivalent 40.41
OT 46.50
MEI- 245.00/ wk
Housing is 1405, but they put in a request to have it bumped to 2000
Is this good or should I decline? I have to give answer by tomorrow. I also have a hospital in California that wants me but it depends on when I get my California license. So not sure if I should decline this and just work on my California license.
