I have bachelor of nursing but I didn't work as a nurse for 6 years I'm looking for a small book to review nursing and prepare my self for RN exam. What's your advice?

Dear Wants to Review,

If you've been out of the nursing field for several years and you're looking to refresh your knowledge and prepare for the RN exam, you might find it helpful to use review books that are specifically designed for exam preparation.

There are many review books, although they may not be small :). Here are a few recommendations:

"Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination" by Linda Anne Silvestri: This book is widely used and well-regarded for its comprehensive content and practice questions. It covers a broad range of topics and provides detailed explanations.

"Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment: Practice Exercises for the NCLEX Examination" by Linda Anne Silvestri and Angela Silvestri. This book focuses on a critical aspect of nursing exams: prioritization, delegation, and assignment. It's an excellent resource to enhance your decision-making skills.

"Lippincott Q&A Review for NCLEX-RN" by Diane Billings and Desiree Hensel. Lippincott is known for its high-quality content, and this book is no exception. It provides a variety of practice questions and detailed rationales.

"HESI Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination" by HESI. The HESI review book is produced by the organization that creates the HESI exam, which nursing schools often use. It covers a wide range of topics and includes practice questions.

"NCLEX-RN Content Review Guide" by Kaplan Nursing. Kaplan is a well-known name in test preparation. This guide offers a focused review of crucial nursing concepts, including practice questions and explanations.

Before selecting a book, consider your learning style and preferences. Some people prefer books with many practice questions, while others may benefit more from a comprehensive content review. Additionally, it might be helpful to complement your book study with online resources, such as practice exams and videos, to reinforce your understanding.

Remember to check for the most recent editions of these books to ensure that you are prepared with the latest information.

Good luck with your exam preparation!
