Hello everyone!!!! One of my aunts has been working an an LVN for many years and she was wondering if the NCLEX RN can be challenged.....or does she need to do all the classes and stuff? I would think she would have to take the classes but I guess it doesn't hurt to ask....thanks! Gloria :)

If her goal is to become an RN, she will need to attend an LPN-to-RN bridge program, either at a traditional college or through a distance-based school such as Excelsior College.LPNs/LVNs are not permitted to challenge the NCLEX-RN, no matter how much work experience they might have.
