Can LPN's from Toronto-Canada work in California with canadian license?

To meet requirements for a TN visa you must be a citizen of either Canada or Mexico, meet BON/BRN requirements and pass NCLEX, visa screen certificate from CGFNS and have a job with employer providing a offer of employment letter. CGFNS exam is only required if the state requires it. You can not work on the NAFTA without the requirements

Ok, Thanks for your response, perhaps I did'nt make my point clear enough for you; I already know that one has to be a citizen of either mexico or canada.

I am also aware one must have their NCLEX and CGFNS,and satisfy all the other security and creditial palava.

Although I learnt something about the cgfns and not all states requiring it.

It is presumed ''THE NAFTA AGREEMENT provides this CONDITION under A TN VISA,providing you attain the NCLEX licenseur during your post-recruitment by the employer''.

Do you know if this is a fact.

So let me make sure you understand my meaning from another perspective, just to be clearer.

Unlike other countries,foreign nurses have to complete their NCLEXs and CGFNS before they take up employment with an employer in the USA,but Canadian and Mexican nurses are an exception with the TN work visa.

I am not asking if they are exempted form attaining these prerequisites.

Is this accurate?.

I realize you must be tired answering all these questions, but I have friend from mexico who wishes to now her position on this issue. :banghead: :bow: Ta !
