hi , i just finished up my RPN practical nursing which is equivalent to LVN in california. Before i obtain license can i obtain a job? while being the process of getting my license? if anybody knows any hospital, rehab or nursing homes that are hiring will you let me know where so i can apply, looking forward to getting a job to get experience. thx guys

Hi everyone, I am a new grad from the Practical Nursing program in Canada. I have my greencard and I just moved to california and understand that i need to write the NCLEX Pn exam in order to be licensed as an LVN. I just would like to know when submitting the application forms to the board, do they need just the transcripts or a proof of nursing hours done from the school as well? the application form is asking a lot but just would like to know what is it that they mainly require. Also any tips on what books i should study to pass the LVN, or are there any classes i can go to that will help me pass the nclex pn exam?. Just would like to concentrate on what helped all the other LVN nurses. Any info will be very helpful. Also i would like to know if there are any places in the states that will hire new practical nursing students from canada with only diploma available and who will provide time until we get the license in the states especially california :). Would be amazing if we can obtain a job while they wait for us to get the license :). thanks guys.

i will be receiving my greencard from usa within that year of my graduation. I would like to know if i can bring my license from canada for lpn to work in the usa. i will have my greencard at the time of my arrival. I would like to know wheather i would have to write the exam here in usa for lpn's again to get us license or if i can use the canadian? Thanks again guys

Hi Friends, I will be within one year graduating from Canada as an LPN, iwould like to know one I get my license from canada how I can apply to work in california usa? Will I have to write an exam here as well? Will it be similar exam as the canada one or will I have to start the program all over again? Please advice Thanks guys,
