Hello all, I just got my RN license and am wondering if international students have to obtain a bachelors degree first to work in the USA in a hospital. I was hoping to gain experience and study at the same time, but friends say you need a bachelors as an international student.
If you go the MSN route you may find it easier to get a GC as long as you can get a job at that level. Nurses generally come in at EB3 level but if the job meets EB2 or 1 then you can go that route and for most AOS which means can start the process and file 485 (which allows you to work whilst being processed (once approved))
Hi Iam an international student just got my RN license in California after I graduated from a ADN program in CA. I found a hospital that is willing to sponsor me for the employment, but as they learned that it takes at least a BSN to geta work visa, they quit. It is a sad thing for me , but it is a hard reality for international students with RN license, but without BSN. Can I ask you where and when youi got your sponsorship?

Currently you will find it hard due to retrogression and H1b requires BSN minimum. May have to consider either maintaining F1 status or looking at another country that accepts ADN
