I have a status of international student. Though I have been living here in the US for 10 yrs. now. I was a dependent for 6 yrs. and then 4yrs. Intn'l student. I saw what the military could offer so I would like to take a shot at applying as a Navy nurse. Is it possible for me to get accepted? I really like what they could offer to enhance my knowledge and experience in the nursing field. Any tips or advice I could use?

Welcome to AN! I am not familiar with Navy nursing, but have you tried talking to a recruiter? They would probably be the best ones to answer your questions accurately.

I'm sorry only US citizens are eligible.

Military nurses are officers and officers must be U.S. citizens.
