Can I take NCLEX-PN?

Nurses General Nursing

I'm a BSN graduate from the philippines and now residing in california. I'm currently waiting for my eligibility to take the NCLEX-RN and I still have to wait for two more months. While waiting, it somehow struck in my mind about LVN. I know that BSN is higher than LVN.

I just want to know if I can apply to take NCLEX-PN too? will the BVNPT credit the curriculum of nursing from the philippines just like the NCLEX-RN do?

sorry about that silverragon108. i have not been here for a long time and i forgot to update my profile.

No problems. I would still concentrate on getting RN. Check out the NCLEX forum and Suzanne's plan she initially started it to help foreign nurses pass NCLEX and now a lot more use it and pass. But would wait for your results first

Sorry for diggin' up an old thread, but i have a question similar to this. What if someone went to school in the Philippines, and didn't finish everything yet, she only needs the last nursing class "nursing management and leadership", but something came up and couldn't go back to finish it. So obviously she has no BSN degree, can she take the NCLEX-PN?

I ask this because I think someone going through a BSN program in the USA can take the NCELX-RN without getting the BSN degree as long as all the requirements for RN are met. Can the same logic be applied to NCLEX-PN?

Thank You
