Hello, ok so I am really really nervous and just need some enlightenment if I even have a shot of getting in. So I just completed the TEAS V for UT Tyler (I am currently a student here) and they only really look at Reading and Math portions. The math I did fine on with and Individual score of 83.3%, way over the minimum score. But on the reading I didn't do as well as I thought. I thought I did great but I fell a little below the recommended minimum score with a 66.7%.
So this is what I am wondering, do I still have a chance of getting in? Like I have 3.9 GPAs and practically all A's in every course beside one B, and I'm wondering if that will all be enough on the admissions point system. I have a friend that told me that she knows quite a few people that still got in and also didn't meet the minimum for the reading.
I even know a girl as well that didn't make the minimum and she got in. I don't know what she mad though. That's what I am wondering though? If anyone that is already in the UT Tyler nursing program know if I still have a shot? Thanks!

The people to answer this question can be found at the UT admissions office. They probably won't give you an "early decision," so for that you'll just have to wait it out like everyone else, but they should be able to tell you if you're competitive.
If you go to the yellow bar at the top of the page and click on US and then TEXAS, your post is more likely to be seen by people from, like, Texas. :)
Good luck!
