Hi, I am going to start my prerequisites for nursing program in August 2022.
I literally have to retake all prerequisites since I graduated University long time ago so what I thought in mind was, I could do as below sched which is ridiculous.
Prereq : Aug 2022~Mar 2023
Nursing program : Aug 2023~~
but it seems like most school's application deadline end in Jan 2023 for Fall 2024 program. (application for Fall 2023 already ends in 2022)
So, applying for Fall 2023 is already impossible, but even for Fall 2024,
application ends while I am still taking Prerequisites in Spring 2023.
Then am I going to wait until Spring 2025 or Fall 2025?? because this is way too late. and only a few schools has Spring starting program.

Hi there, I don't entirely understand what your question is...is it about the length of time in taking your prerequisites? I would suggest the following (if you haven't already done so): list out various programs and their requirements [ABSNs will have different requirements than ADN/ASNs]
Take the courses you know you will need to focus on the most in the time that makes the most sense. For example if you know that in the Summer you will be less busy than the fall or Spring and you don't do well in math then take your stats class then.
Also! Most programs will allow you to apply with 1 or 2 outstanding courses (meaning you haven't taken them yet or are waiting on grades to come back). The easiest way to ensure that you are nailing down all the necessary courses (and aren't wasting your time or money) is to contact the programs you are trying to get into. There most often will be an admissions counselor that can tell you how many prereqs you will have needed to have on your transcript. I hope this kind of answered your question!

Thank for the reply
I found out that I can only apply nursing program from Spring 2024 due to their application deadline. (I can finish my prereq until Spring 2023)
