I recently had my license number posted on the board site in California so I'm working on finishing up my resume. I have completed a IV certification course and they have sent the information to the state but it hasn't been updated online yet. Is it okay to add IV certified on my resume?

I would wait until the designation shows on the Board's website. You don't want to be embarrassed if they should check your license status and it is not there or not there yet. Sometimes there are flub-ups that you need to factor in time for resolving.
Do you know how long it usually takes for the IV cert to appear online?
No idea. I got mine back in the day of dinosaurs and it appeared the next time I got my license in the mail. There was no checking on the internet back then and I didn't really need to include it on a resume at the time. Once you get the certification the first time, you don't have to worry about it in the future.

Hi, I would say it's ok to put the IV cert because in an interview you can show certificate of completion.
