Can you guys recommend CA Nursing University to transfer?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hello guys, i am currently attending community college and have GPA of 4.0

I did not take TEAS yet, and does not have any volunteer experience.

so can you guys recommend some good University in California? (or some of good CSU Nursing)

I don't want University that is too competitive.

I'm not going to apply in any of the UC's; such as universities that requires too much prerequisites.

Specializes in L&D, infusion, urology.

Any of the CSUs are good. Most schools require the same prerequisites, whether ADN (usually through a community college) or BSN (through a university). There may be the odd exception, but overall, all nursing programs in CA require your general ed completed, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and chemistry. BSN programs will also require statistics. CSUs do not have a language requirement, but UCs do. Spanish is, of course, very beneficial in health care in CA. Depending on where you are in CA, you'll really want to pursue a BSN over an ADN, particularly if you're in or near a major city. Rural areas are more amenable to ADN-prepared nurses than are cities.

ALL nursing schools are competitive. Period. If they're not, then you need to re-examine their program (and look at the graduation rate and the NCLEX pass rate). With a 4.0, if your TEAS and your prereqs demonstrate the same ability, you should be fine for any program.

I would strongly recommend more English courses, as, based on your OP, you need to brush up on this skill. Nursing school requires the writing of several papers, and your punctuation, spelling and grammar are part of your grade.

tnx I know most of them are competitive; and thanks for your advice, maybe it is because English is my second language.
