Somebody decided to cash in on the state of CA steering people toward an LVN license when they had problems getting their CA RN license. An enterprising Filipino duo also had plans to mass produce Filipino teachers to take teaching jobs in CA. Don't know how far that idea went. I suppose if there was a need for Filipino construction workers in CA, there would be programs there to train for construction jobs in CA, and so on and so forth. As previously stated, most countries require that nurses be educated at the baccalaureate level, precluding the LPN/LVN. Pretty much only the US insists on keeping the LPN/LVN nurse, for the purpose of paying low wages for nursing care.
