Can i bring cellphone in the test center?

Published

hi guys. i'm gonna take the exam this coming Monday. i'm planning to just take an uber going to the testing center instead of bringing a car. Are they allowing cellphones to be put in the locker? or CP are strictly not allowed? thanks in advance for those who will answer. :)

^of course you can't bring it into the room with all the computers.

but yes, you can bring your phone to the pearson vue center and when you check in, like everyone else said, you'll turn it off in front of the pearson people (or prove it's off), they seal in in a baggy and give it to you to store in a locker

Yes it must be stored with other items that you have brought in your locker.

I know of no test center that will allow you to either have a cell phone on your person during the test, or to access it on a break. Leave it at home or store it in a provided locker.

Best of luck with the test.

So clearly those of us who have recently tested, have personal experience of how cell phones are stored in the lockers during the exam- and exactly what the rules are, aren't to be trusted. So I would suggest ya'll pick up the phone and CALL your testing center yourself. Oh, by these way, the rules are also posted online at PearsonVue. Yes- you really can take your cell phone into the testing center, no - you can't access it till after the exam. S

You're welcome! Sending you lots of good energy- let us know when you get your results. And btw- ignore all the naysayers. The PVT truck absolutely works. Just do it all the way to the very end, when you are asked to confirm your order, say yes. Just don't do it till you get an email from PearsonVue, about 45 minutes after you finish the test usually. Many of my classmates were afraid of using a parent's credit card, so I used mine fort several, worked and was correct every single time! We all knew our results less than an hour after the exam.

Hi. I passed the exam! :)
