Can anyone Recommend a CNA Classes in Phoenix/East Valley??

Published

Can anyone recommend a place where I can take a CNA class? Community colleges are all full up right now. Preferably one where it is paid for and there is a work commitment after wards. I am taking my last pre-req at Gateway for the RN program but I would like to work as a CNA if I get the short straw on the wait list or while I am in the RN program. I did look at one school -RSAA. It seemed good but I am not too sure.

Thanks in advance,

Derek

If you go to the Arizona Board of Nursing website (Arizona State Board of Nursing) and go to "Resources" and then "Educational Resources" - you can get a list of the CNA AZBN Approved program list. It might help to start there. I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago. Took the list, called those in my area for the information that I needed to make my decision.

I hope this helps.

Used to be there was a list of places that offered CNA training. This list was obtained at the nursing office at MCC. Perhaps they're not doing that anymore.

I just finished at RSAA in Mesa. I was very happy with my experience.

Good luck!
