Just found out that my friend is keeping large volume of empty unused syringes from the hospital that we are currently working with pt.' s label attached along with her initial. Can she loose her license? I believe its violating HIPPA right?

Thank u for the reply, went over to her house for dinner but accidentaly found 3 bags of syringes under the sink while I was looking for a trash bag. I have no idea how to approach her about it. Im afraid that she is violating some kind of rules and might get in trouble for it.

if you're a good enough friend to be at her home for dinner you should be a good enough friend to ask what's up with all the patient syringes under her sink.

That's bizarre. You need to ask her what's up with that. Regardless, she shouldn't be stealing syringes from work or taking patient labels.

There is a lot of fishy smell to this post. In addition to text speak (seriously, read the TOS when create an account people) and the fear of someone's loose license I mean.
