hi, i am currently licensed in the state of nj as an
lpn, and i searching and searching for work. i graduated in june 2009, passed my boards and only have 6 months experience working at an assisted living. i have so much compassion for people, and my passion in life is to help others. i have been applying for the past four months everywhere. i would love to work in home care, or a physician's office. i am not picky, i am a super fast leaner and am in need or work. i went back for my rn, and took all the pre-reqs, though i am currently on a one-year wait list. i am so exhausted applying online,
no call backs, no follow up emails, no contact whatsoever. :crying2:what happened to communication, did it really go out the door? nothing is personal anymore. i leave messages on phones for the hr/don of all ltc, hospitals, rehabs, dr. offices. it's really sad and discouraging. nj provide these schools, take our money, and no work. if anyone knows of a job in the mercer county area of nj, please, i would appreciate it so much. i love the elderly, the love children -- i have tried contacting bayada, interim, white glove, gentiva, --- (all home come) but all i hear is the same thing, we would love to take you, but you need 1-2 years experience or trach/vent/g-tubes --- how are we supposed to obtained a nursing position if we are unable to get that first job:confused:. i feel so hopeless and depressed. i am 31 years old, and would love to have a family one day, but my student loans, and credit card bills are
extremely high. thank you for listening --- :redbeatheif anyone out there is willing to give me a chance i am here =)
