Hey girl,

what's up? How are you doing? How is everything going? No, I have not dropped out but I am failing patho AA and I need to take it agian in the summer. Who was your teacher for patho? Do you recommend anyone?

Angie...

Sorry to hear that. You do have so much on your plate tho....My teacher was Cullinan. Wasn't she yours. Mostly I love her. Nice lady.

was your poor grade a result of lack of understanding or mostly time constraints/stress. If it is the latter, well, you could probably have any teacher in the summer and pass since that will be your only class, you know??

Have you thought about switching to the PT program second semester?

Thrashej,

Hey girl, well, its my fault why I am failing. I hardly studied for any of her tests b/c of all the other stuff that I had going on, if you know what I mean. Nope, I don't think I am gonna switch to the p/t program afterall. Clinicals are awsome. I love it sooo much but I am haveing trouble with the care plans. H ow is everything going with you? How is your father doing?

Hey Angie,

Sorry to hear about your patho class. I took a patho class at CGCC and I really liked the teacher and did really well in her class. If you're willing to drive all the way down here I can give you her name.

Were you thinking about transfering to the p/t class? Our teacher is awesome, but I don't think we've lost any students yet.

I'm glad you're enjoying NS so much. It was fun seeing you guys last week, I still haven't run into Thrashej, though. I'm sure I will soon.

Keli..

Sorry couldn't hang out and talk yesterday.....had to go get food, my patho class was gonna be starting. I did, however, see Angie and talked to her for like 45 min after school!!! Maybe next Fri??;)

CLINICALS HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (my least fav part):uhoh3:

No problem Thrashej,

It was nice seeing you though!! I saw Kelly last week. I was really glad she was still in the program since she drives so far (like me) but she's in the traditional program so more days of driving, PLUS working. I don't know how she does it.

I've run into Angie and Mandy a couple of times in lab. Are you going to be doing your clinicals at Banner first, or are you going to that other place first? I signed up to do OB second next semester. That's the one I'm really looking forward to. I don't want to be a L&D nurse, but after having four kids I'll be a little more familiar with the material :lol2:

Yeah, the fact that I have had NO kids is why I am absolutely terrified of OB!!:lol2:

I am doing all my rotations (there are three) at Banner Tbird except for Peds, which is at Hacienda House, I believe, way out by South Mountain. Uggghh. I do OB first. We picked to have med surg first, but we didn't get it. Just so you know, they may not give the rotations to you in the order you want... our med surg rotation is going to be on Tele. Maybe 3a instead of 1a....aren't you guys on tele 1a?? Hmmm. We will see each other every morning of clinical, I am sure. Last semester both Block 1 and 2 were in the cafeteria in the AM before clinicals start. All wishing we could be somewhere else and half asleep!!:lol2: :uhoh3:

C ya!

You and I both. I'm going to have to leave my house at 5 AM!!! to get to clinicals on time, ughh. I AM NOT a morning person!! That'll be cool if we get to meet in the cafeteria in the AM's. I"m not really looking forward to clinicals either  I'm sort of scared about the care plans, they seem so overwhelming!!

Chat later,

Keli
