Can anybody help me with personal statement please?

Hi all,

I've been a RN for more than 10years. I am apllying FNP. I indeed need some help with 1) a personal statement 2) career goal essay......

I have no idea where to start:crying2: Can anybody please shed some light on this? Could anybody even can PM me a copy of those so that I will have some ideas?

Please!!! I will need these two by tomorrow night.....

A personal statement is a little about yourself, any volunteer work that you have done or even info about being a wife and mom and how you have arrived to where you are now.

Career goals is about where you see yourself in the future as an FNP how you will help the community and nursing with the advance education. You may include any desires to continue your education to gain your doctorate. Hope this helps

Any more inputs? I am working on the career goals. It would be wounderful if I could just find a sample essay about career goals to get some ideas.

Well what are your a Career goals? I put goals down on opening a rural health clinic since I live in a fairly small town. Then I backed this up by googling rural health care. I found most small towns have no access to care and if so the only person might Be a pharmacist. Are you in suburbia, talk about working in a clinic. Helping people get access to affordable care, talk about reasons people can't access care, ie lack of insurance, transportation. I've often also considered a business that went into homes like home health but giving no benefits. How many do u know that are home bound and the only tome they get tx us in a hospital? Hope this helps. When you figure out your goals back it up with a statistic or two them reference it in APA.

Wow, I wondered where my post went. The one comment was to be about home health NP giving home care to the debilitated. Just make sure if you use a statistic, then reference in the body of the paper in APA format. You do not need a reference sheet. So, wavewave are you suburban or rural??
