Calling: Any ARIZONA nurses who endorsed to CALIFORNIA !

Hello, i have read the sticky on how to endorse to california BUT i am still cofused! I currently have my AZ license and want to endorse to california, i want to get my temp license in sacramento. here are my questions...

-how do i know if my state is part of nursys????

-do i have to mail all of my paperwork (application, transcripts..) to california bon BEFORE i go to sacramento??

thanks in advance, i really dont want to drive all the way to sacramento to only find out that i am missing paperwork or that my state/nursing program was not part of nursys....

oh my!!!!!!! i just read on the california board of nursing website that they WILL not be issuing temporary licenses UNTIL the fingerprints have been cleared by the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation! darn...i guess i wont be driving to sacramento if they wont be giving me a license right then and there...any opinions???
