Did you apply? What are your stats like? If you get in will you go or do you have (an)other preferred option(s)? What things have you heard about the program?

The document said it expires June 27 I believe

I had issues accepting the SIRPAF however I finally figured it out. It’s addressed to your personal email not your CSUN so I had to open it on my phone in order to accept my position in the cohort and actually sign the document. I tried on my computer and it wasn’t letting me sign in to do it but from my personal email on my phone it did!

Awesome, thank you so much! I just tried it again today from my CSUN email instead of my personal and it worked. Seems like a glitch LOL I was starting to freak out for a second hahaha

Hi Lana, thanks for making the group. Is it public or private? Just asking for privacy concerns! Thank you again

I made it public for students to join. Should I make it private?

I will keep group public till Friday night to give more time for other students to join. After that I will make it private.

I personally didn't have a job but I know some people in my cohort had jobs and managed it! Last semester, we had lectures/ labs on Monday, Tues, and Friday. We had one clinical day during the week which varied for everyone. You'll probably have three days off you might be able to manage a part time job.

edit

Hi! For your Mon, Tues, and Friday classes, what time did you have your class run until for each day? I just wanted to get an idea to see if I am able to work in the evenings. Thank you again for the heads up!

Is anyone here applying for Spring 23'? I'm just about to start my application but am worried it'll close sooner than the deadline!

I was dead set on reapplying but decided to apply to other schools and reapply next year for fall2023 if I don’t get in anywhere else. I honestly did not like how there was not a lot of communication with admissions and after looking at a lot of other schools out of state, I found them to be a lot more helpful in the application process.

Best of luck to you!

Hi,

Everyone has different schedules for labs and clinicals but we had the lectures at the same time. I'm not sure if you guys are going to have the same schedule for your cohort.

Monday: NURS 307 (Health assessment) lecture from 8 am to 10:30.

NURS 307L (Health assessment lab): Lab from 2-5pm. Other people had their labs right after the lecture from 11- 2.

Tuesday: NURS 302 (Pathophysiology): Lecture from 8 to 11 am.

Wednesday: clinical from 6:45 am to 3pm ish. *Clinical schedules were either Wednesday or Thursday for everyone

Friday: NURS 318 (Fundamentals): Lecture from 9 am to 12 pm.

NURS 318 (Fundamentals Sim Lab): 1 pm to 3 pm. Others had their lab from 4 to 6 pm.

Hope this helps! ?
