I got in! I had a video interview. I had a lower GPA, 78% TEAS. My most recent volunteer experience was from 2017. I recently started working as a CNA. I think what got me in was my personal statement and interview. ??

After confirming directly with Ms. Carrillo she has cleared up the confusion and confirmed that I was in fact admitted for the Spring 2022 cohort; however my admission portal has not been updated yet. Congratulations to the others who got accepted and for those who did not please don’t give up! I had my fair share of rejections and just know your time will come.

She said the same thing to me. My portal was not updated either.

If it's not updated by Monday I will reach out to her. It makes me slightly nervous after the fiasco that was today but after confirming with her directly I feel more content! Congratulations on being accepted!

My portal has not be updated either. It still says I am an applicant. I’m thinking because I still need to send another official transcript from a college.

Not bashing, it is very disorganized.

Every program in SoCal has had an overwhelming influx of applicants, two other ones I applied to also had over 800 and have handled it way better/differently than CSUN.

Just something I would take into account if you have multiple options to choose from. If not, just make sure you find your resources get through the program and strive!

 

Congrats to those who got in, and keep your head up to those that didn't, it will happen for you!

Hi! This happened to me last application cycle and Yvonne sent out an email about a week later with the attached email that was intended to be sent out. Unfortunately for me it was a rejection letter, but I would just reach out to Yvonne to see what’s going on!
