Hi everyone! My name is Monica and I wanted to make this forum for everyone applying to the fall 2021 semester of CSUN ABSN. Good luck everyone ?

From the website it says, “The ABSN program’s annual application cycle services a Spring and fall cohort. Once the fall cohort is full, additional successful applicants may be offered a seat in the Spring cohort.” 

So depending on which cohort you get into, it’s either August or January. And they assign it. If you get in, you don’t get to choose.

August if you get into fall term

and January if you get into Spring term.

This application cycle we are being considered for either terms.

I don’t know the exact number, but I heard on another forum triple the normal amount that apply because so many programs shut down during the pandemic.

If you go on the website, the schedule is posted. I believe it starts August 28th if I remember correctly. There were about 700 applicants this cycle.

No clue but I hope we hear back by Friday. 

If they do need an extension then perhaps they'll send us an email tomorrow letting us know.
