Hi Everyone!

I wanted to create this forum because I haven't seen one for this cycle. I figured it would be a good way to connect with others who are going through the application process, are scared, nervous, excited, or lost. (or maybe all of the above) Also just a great way to stay updated with the application cycle. The application closes on Nov 1st! ?

Would love if anyone wanted to introduce themselves, and why they decided to apply to CSUF ABSN

I will start!

I am in my last semester of college! WOO WOO! Graduating with my bachelors in Kinesiology, at CSUF. I chose CSUF because besides the obvious fact that I am already going attending this school, I would love to stay local! PLUS I am applying to as many schools as I can. (Just hoping I get into one ;-;)

I just submitted my a few days ago (I know late) but I unfortunately had a lot of unexpected events happens in the past two month that caused a huge delay ? so I am hoping it doesn't affect my application too much. 

Good luck everyone, I wish we could all just get accepted.

I have been trying to do the device setup portion but for some reason its not working even though I am using chome on a mac... anyone else?

I was browsing old posts for CSUF ABSN and some people mentioned a practice interview. Do we have any practice options we can do before starting the real one? Not sure if I see any. Thanks

@futurenurse299 I had both safari and chrome. First it was not working but later I set up the chrome as default and it is finally working.

you need to go to the setting and turn ON the video and audio to access.

How's everyone feeling about their interview? The interview was surprisingly nothing like I expected. I thought the questions were going to be a lot more challenging, but thank goodness they were not. 🙂

Also does anyone know if we all got an interview? From my understanding talking previously with admissions they first rank applicants based off of the point system. They then take those top applicants and invite them to interview. From those that interview, they make their admissions decision. It also says on their website, "Top candidates will be invited to participate in an interview. Applicants will be notified by email if they are invited to interview." But from what it sounded like from the invitation email, it seems like it is apart of the admissions process and they invited everyone. 😕

Dang, if they did invite everyone for interview then it'll be super competitive 😵‍💫 hopefully having the interview invitation means we are those top candidates and there aren't too many LOL. I also feel like if everyone got invited then it would be more busy on this thread

Glad it went well for you! I plan on doing it tomorrow morning. From my understanding we get asked 4 questions. I'm very nervous! I've been practicing the typical nursing school interview questions + random ones LOL
