I wanted to create this forum because I haven't seen one for this cycle. I figured it would be a good way to connect with others who are going through the application process, are scared, nervous, excited, or lost. (or maybe all of the above) Also just a great way to stay updated with the application cycle. The application closes on Nov 1st! ?

I am in my last semester of college! WOO WOO! Graduating with my bachelors in Kinesiology, at CSUF. I chose CSUF because besides the obvious fact that I am already going attending this school, I would love to stay local! PLUS I am applying to as many schools as I can. (Just hoping I get into one ;-;)
I just submitted my a few days ago (I know late) but I unfortunately had a lot of unexpected events happens in the past two month that caused a huge delay ? so I am hoping it doesn't affect my application too much.

On the portal last week it said "no admission decision has been made.” I checked today and it changed to "Your application file has been sent to the Nursing department and is currently pending an admission decision. Please check back for an update on your admission status or contact the department for questions.”
Where are you guys checking to see an application change on your portal. I logged back into my portal and I don't see anything on the main home menu. If you don't mind, can one of you guys direct me on where to check please.
Under profile, click on student homepage. Then "Admission." In the application status tab, click on the hyperlink that says "View detailed information for this application."

Hi! Once you login to the portal click on student homepage > admissions > application status > then "view detailed information for this application" hope this helps!
Yes I got an email woo! Congrats everyone! Exciting and nervous. Is this video interview timed or we can see the questions and have time to prep? Not too sure about the "you will be given prep time" thing
hi! did anyone else receive an email for an interview?! it says part of the application process, so I'm assuming it goes out to everyone?
Yes I got the email too! I think their website says only top candidates get invited to interview. Good luck everyone!

In the practice section, they give you 30 sec to prep your response and then 1 min 30 for the actual response. But I'm not sure if the timing will be the same for all of the questions they give us in the actual interview.

based on last years thread, I think they give you the question, give you a minute or two to think, then you'll provide your answer. I'm so nervous 😂😭
