Hi everyone! I noticed there hasn't been a topic started for CSUEB (Hayward), so I thought I'd get things rolling. I've already applied and thought it would be great for us to share stats and ask any questions we might have.
For my stats:
Paid Medical Experience: Over 550 hours
Science GPA: 4.0
Overall GPA: 3.7
TEAS Score: 85.4%
CSUEB is the only BSN program I applied to—everything else is ADN. Wishing everyone the best of luck! 😊
I also applied to lmc and it sucks that they release them so late, I just received my phase 1 score breakdown. If all goes well with east bay I will accept my seat but I will continue to see if LMC sends out acceptance. My only thing with LMC is the trouble many new grads are having finding jobs and securing residency program spots 😞 I feel like it would maybe be easier with a BSN program but still almost just as hard so I am still not on what I would do. As long as one program accepts me hopefully LOL
YES! I have saw on a Bay Area Nursing student fb group a lot of people saying BSN is the way to go. I haven't heard anything about LMC new grads having issues. I was at the Antioch E.R for something minor and the nurse taking my blood said she had just got her ADN through LMC and she loved it, so that's hopeful. UGH good luck to us freakin both.
Question first time gen over here LOL Do you get a physical letter or email saying your have been rejected or does this mean anything, I just saw this when I went log into my CSUEB netID 😞
Hey @Tara.M - that doesn't mean you're rejected! It just means you're not admitted yet! If you click below on application status it will probably say your application is being reviewed by your academic department ☺️
@Tara.M I don't think we'll hear anything today 😭 it looks like decisions are usually sent out Tue/Wed/Thu. I really thought we'd hear this week....sigh.
@lolo25 I've been soooo anxious since Friday. Being stuck in this weird limbo where I could get rejected, waitlisted, or accepted—basically the Spider-Man meme where they're all pointing at each other 🤣 laughing also wanting to cry.
