I completed the LVN program at Casa Loma College in Van Nuys last year. Their NCLEX success rate was 84 percent for the Van Nuys campus and 92 percent for the Hawthorne campus. I wouldn't pay too much attention to the so-called 'success rate' because much of your learning will occur at home. The full-time program is very fast-paced.
To my knowledge, Casa Loma College did not offer childcare. There were many mothers of young children who attended the school, and they all had to arrange for babysitting services on their own time.
I moved to Texas 1 month after completing the program, so I don't know about their job placement statistics. However, the job placement advisor was unaware I had moved away from Southern California and had left several voice messages on my cell phone about job openings for new grads.
Be aware that the full-time program was $19,995. The part-time program was $22,000.
