Scripps new grad program summer 2013

Thought I would post another thread on here for the scripps new grad program starting this summer as applications are open for internals and soon will open for externals. I myself am an internal, applied Monday, and have an interview already set for May 7th... Good luck to all!!!

@Meg16-What units did you interview for Green and Chula? I used to work at both and might be able to provide you with some names you might recognize.

oh, also, random. I submitted my app on that Monday (4/29) but actually didn't complete the simulation until that Friday (05/03)

from what i've been hearing, there was the 500 cut off, but 200 were asked to interview

Does anyone know why some people get a panel of 2 and others up to 5? I had my interview today, and I was wondering why that was. I could be wrong, but I feel like a larger panel (i.e. more Scripps representatives from different locations) would've improved my chances. Not to say I think it went badly, because even though I got the smaller panel, my interviewers were very nice.

I was wondering the same thing. Perhaps it had to do with Talentmine? They seem to place a lot of emphasis on that.

I know! My classmates and I were just talking about how it would be nice to just be happy to be graduating. Instead we are all stressing about finding a job!

Does anybody know for certain how many they are hiring? I thought the rep said 45-50 new grads for the regular residency but I keep hearing 80 from other people? Just curious. Waiting stinks. ;P

I think the talent manager said around 100. I'm still a little unclear as to how the selection process works though. It would suck if someone turned out to be a good fit for another unit they didn't happen to interview with

the talent manager said she can take up to 100, just depends how many they tell her they want. we will great back by the end of the month.... ahhhh ! Adm I the only one going crazy by my phone 24/7? lol

Hey sandiegoRN!! I asked and they said last time it was anywhere between 2-4 weeks! And I think someone last said they will make decisions by May 20th? So it's quite a wait! At least they will let us know either way if we are chosen or rejected.
