Anyone applying for Spring 2012 or Fall 2012?

Specializes in Cardiothoracic, Peds CVICU.

I printed that thread out a while ago and I've been focusing on it a lot. My fingers are crossed!

I am planning to take my teas in September. I need at least a 92 because my gpa isn't so high. I have not even started studying. What should I focus mostly on? I am worried about math and english

I would focus a lot on the science. That makes up a bigger portion of the exam. It helps to buy the ATI study guide and get the online practice tests as well. The math is explained very well in the study guide. Here's a link of a good study guide that a person posted:

Good luck!

I'm applying for Spring 2012 at sac state. They have a timeline posted on their website that tells you exact dates for having everything done by. I read in the instructions you needed to send a copy of your teas score in the same envelope as your application. If you read all of the documents they have posted, you should be able to find it for sure.

I am applying for spring 2012! I am very excited and scared at the same time. I still have to take my TEAS.

@ sacnurse - Hi! I'm curious what your stats are? I hope to see you there in the spring!

Hi everyone! I am applying to Sac State's Fall 2012 program. I am finishing up my last prereq this semester and will take TEAS around January. Anybody else applying for fall?

Hi guys, I'm finishing my 3rd semester at SacState and love the school. Specially after moving to a new building and having place to ourself. Hope you will get the spot!

Does anyone know if for admission to the university as a transfer student you need to send in official transcripts? It said online that they accept you from the information you enter on CSU Mentor but I don't want to get rejected from the university/nursing school because I don't submit transcripts!

Yes. For the university, they need official ones, but for the nursing program I think they take unofficial. And send them from ALL colleges you've gone to. I've heard about 2 people who got rejected because they didn't get them all in.

The application is up now. What are your guys point total? :)

I am applying for fall. I currently have 80 points total, but I am retaking the TEAS today just to err on the side of caution. I got an 86.7 the last time I took TEAS, I am hoping to boost that up a little bit more. How about you?

I believe I have 84 points, but I may have 81.

GPA: 4.0 (50 pts)

TEAS: 88.7% (28 pts)

Health related experience: 100+ hours (3 pts)

Bilingual proficiency: 3 yrs of high school Japanese (3 pts?) I don't know if I will get points for this language because it may not be one of the languages they accept for points.

I think your 80 points is competitive already :) But if CSUS is your #1 choice then I guess it'd be a good idea to try and raise your TEAS score.
