Anyone applying for Spring 2012 or Fall 2012?
I am planning to take my teas in September. I need at least a 92 because my gpa isn't so high. I have not even started studying. What should I focus mostly on? I am worried about math and english
I would focus a lot on the science. That makes up a bigger portion of the exam. It helps to buy the ATI study guide and get the online practice tests as well. The math is explained very well in the study guide. Here's a link of a good study guide that a person posted:

Good luck!
hey girls i know this is way after all this was posted but i was wondering if you two knew when sac state needs the teas test done by for fall 2012 and when you apply to the nursing prgram. i know its after the school application which is oct 1- nov 20
I'm applying for Spring 2012 at sac state. They have a timeline posted on their website that tells you exact dates for having everything done by. I read in the instructions you needed to send a copy of your teas score in the same envelope as your application. If you read all of the documents they have posted, you should be able to find it for sure.
I am applying for spring 2012! I am very excited and scared at the same time. I still have to take my TEAS.
@ sacnurse - Hi! I'm curious what your stats are? I hope to see you there in the spring!
Does anyone know if for admission to the university as a transfer student you need to send in official transcripts? It said online that they accept you from the information you enter on CSU Mentor but I don't want to get rejected from the university/nursing school because I don't submit transcripts!
I believe I have 84 points, but I may have 81.
GPA: 4.0 (50 pts)
TEAS: 88.7% (28 pts)
Health related experience: 100+ hours (3 pts)
Bilingual proficiency: 3 yrs of high school Japanese (3 pts?) I don't know if I will get points for this language because it may not be one of the languages they accept for points.
I think your 80 points is competitive already :) But if CSUS is your #1 choice then I guess it'd be a good idea to try and raise your TEAS score.

I printed that thread out a while ago and I've been focusing on it a lot. My fingers are crossed!
