Hello all!

I'm a new member to this site, but it's a great site:) I'm planning a move from Oklahoma to San Diego after the holidays. I have 8 years of experience working with transplant and med-surg patients. I know the cost of living is night and day I'm curious what I can expect salary wise? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!

Anywhere from $30-50/hr depending on what you're doing, where you're working, and what your quals are. Where I work, with your experience you'd probably score in the mid-upper $40s (don't quote me to HR, though). But yes, cost of living is steep here...the hourly rate may sound like a lot but if you're not careful it won't go very far.

Thanks so much for the info! It's just beautiful out there and my husband has tons of family so we think it might be time to move. Do you have suggestions on good hospitals or are they all pretty descent?

Sent you a PM with some info.
