LACC NURSING Spring 2019

U.S.A. California

Hello!

So I applied to LACC nursing program for 2019. Just was wondering who else has? And I thought it would be nice to keep each other updated. I turned in my application 9/25. Praying and hoping to get in!!

Yeah also we need to pay for the classes before orientation, I don't know how much it is yet. Then on the day of orientation, it said be prepared to pay $225 for ATI. Also, you should schedule a physical exam after orientation. They said not to buy our uniforms or medical equipment yet either. We start February 4th. I'm still waiting for GCC as well...

congrats to those that got in, but i haven't received anything yet, other than being notified I was in the lottery :/

You should call them and ask about your status!

Im waiting for gcc too hopefully we will know by Friday

i'm alternate 21. damn, maybe next time. Good luck to those who got in

I started to read other threads and there were many people that got in being an alternate in the 20s

The two classes, fire safety and MOAB, will cost $65 in total.

Do we pay online or in school?

You can call the number listed in your acceptance letter and pay with a credit card, or you can go in person to admission 112 and pay there. I don't think that you can register online.

Omg thank you! Also, I applied to LAVC but not for the nursing program and I can't apply to LACC online. I have a LACCD ID number, is that going to be okay to register for classes?

You will probably be fine. If you are a student in any of the LACCD colleges, you can register for classes in any of the colleges within the district. That being said, I'm also just a student and if you want to be sure just call the nursing office and see what they tell you.

Yeah you're right, thanks! I'm probably going to call in Tuesday since it's a holiday on Monday.

I'm so bad at responding to this :(

I got in! Still kind of in shock as this is the only place I applied. I live super close and it's really convenient. Just registered for the orientation. See you guys soon!
