Jobs around Fresno?

Hi. Can anyone tell me what the job situation is like for a new grad w/ an ADN in the Fresno area? Are any of the hospitals hiring ADN's?

ADNs with 3 to 5 years of acute care experience are getting hired at the hospitals in and around Fresno, but I do not know of any new grad ADNs getting hospital jobs without inside connections (a.k.a. knowing someone on the inside). For new grad hospital jobs, BSNs are getting priority.

You can try nursing homes/SNF, but even these places have been demanding a minimum of 1 year of experience lately due to the economy. Also look into private duty, home health, and hospice.
