Anyone else waiting to hear from San Diego State University?

U.S.A. California

So April 15th has come and gone. Now we sit and wait. I know that letters won't start coming out until June, right?

I will admit that I'm nervous - I worry about my GPA not being good enough because of the utter failure I was when I first attended college 17 years ago. I've pulled a 3.91 GPA at the college I attend now, and have a 2.92 cumulative between the two colleges (like I said, failure.)

I scored a 92% on the TEAS and am doing well in the pre-reqs, except for Psychology. I won't receive points for that one since I had a C- way back when. I am retaking that this summer in order to raise my GPA.

Any other thoughts? How are you feeling? What is your history?

Good luck and blessings to all :) It's a pleasure to be a member of this forum.

hello everyone, i have been keeping up on your posts even though i have just registered. i applied for fall as well, but didnt get a call...that really sucks that they could be done with their list of people. i believe i had 67 points for the fall 06 criteria, the ones that made it did you go by fall 06 criteria or the newer version?

hi everyone...no i did not. =( i guess i kno wat i must do. spring it is. congrats to those who got in!

hello everyone! i have been watching your posts even though i have just registered, but your information has really kept me up to date on everything. i was sad to read the post about their lists being completed for calling people...i applied for fall and was a rollover application so to have to go through this process all over again i hope is worth it for the third time for spring 2010...third times a charm right? well, i was going by the fall 06 criteria and had 67 points, i believe. what was the criteria most of you were going by?

oops...i thought the first message didnt get sent lol sorry about the repetition

i'm sorry... i'm just as upset as you are.

when i called ******, her machine picked up and said she was gone at 3pm... she will continue her calls tomorrow. i remembered this message from yesterday *confused* is this the same or a new recording? if it's the same message then we can give up... but if it's new, then you might have a chance.

soo...if you think about it even if the message is old that means she didnt change it cuz she might still have calls, right? lets hope so and keep our fingers crossed. how many points did you have?

i used the fall 08 criteria and i had 66 points. i'm embarrassed to even admit that, but it's what i have. i knew i wasn't going to compete with the others.

Congrats to everyone that got in!

I just spoke to ******, she said the cutoff was 72 points because she said they had to cut 30 spots for this fall. :o For the people that didn't get in, don't give up on SPRING 10!!!

They will mail out the application for Spring rollovers in a couple of weeks.

I'm a transfer student, so I will continue to enroll at SDSU and take a bunch of upper division courses to graduate . If anyone wants to keep in touch, message me! I'm actually relieved that I might be able to start Spring so I can save money.

Good luck to everyone.

nope..I just called right now to make sure what they meant by completing a list. I asked if it were just the list for TODAY or for the entire Fall. They're done with the calls for the Fall. It's officially. It's done.

I asked them about a letter to mail out to us. They said no. they are only doing calls instead. Letters will be mailed out to those who got in later.

Also, ****** said she would normally admit people with 67 points if they didn't cut down by 30 spots.

Anyways, this is a good semester for me to take a VACATION!

so wat upper division classes can I take @ SDSU?

I guess I should schedule an app w/a counselor..cuz I dnt want to waste time taking classes I dn't need in the fall.

If you haven't finished your US government or US Politics requirement to graduate, you can take them at SDSU.

I need to finish my GWAR requirement.

I'm not sure what else, but I need to look it up on the sdsu site.
